Monthly Action: May 2017

For May, I would like to encourage everyone to send cheer to centers that support women, women’s health, and a woman’s right to chose. Mother’s Day is May 14th for those of us based in the U.S.A., and I think it’s an appropriate time to take a moment to support the people and places that help women become mothers when the time is right for them. I include an adoption service among my addresses because I believe in choice without demonizing abortion or idealizing adoption. Women deserve the truth and access to all options. That’s the definition of freedom. Let’s celebrate it for everyone. Let’s remind those fighting for us that we care about the hard work they are doing.

Here are some suggested addresses:

Chicago Women’s Health Center, 1025 W. Sunnyside, Suite 201, Chicago, IL 60640

GROUNDSWELL FUND, PO Box 71642, Oakland, CA 94612

As always, a Google search for “women’s support health centers” and “planned parenthood” in your area will give you addresses more local for you. Thanks for your help in stamping out hate.
